Fuel consumption
By purchasing your items from fewer places, you have an opportunity to reduce your carbon footprint. If you travel to fewer places, you reduce your fuel consumption and therefore burn less carbon. You can save money on fuel and help towards saving the environment.
Money
You can also reduce your own and another couples carbon footprint by recycling something which has barely been used. You could give another couple the chance to buy your nearly new or unused items at a reduced cost and get some of your original costs back. If you buy a barely used item you can reduce your wedding costs and if you want to you can put the items back on the list afterwards.
Time
You can spend less time searching for items because you can see what specific items looked like at a previous wedding, therefore you may be able to plan exactly what your room could look like if you buy the items used at a previous wedding.
Items to recycle
The wedding co-op mainly recycles items like, vases, cake stands, table linen, chair covers and silk flowers. We have dresses on the list too and are always open to suggestions.
